• TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Golf Fitness Instructor Born and raised in Kazakhstan, Sergey moved to North America in 2006 to join world-renowned Cirque du Soliel’s Kooza where he performed a featured acrobatic “Hand to Hand” act and the main character of the show “The Trickster”.
Passion and success in acrobatic-gymnastics allowed him to become top performer in Cirque du Soleil with whom he toured the world for 6 year and where he has the privilege to meet his wife Corine. Prior to his time at Cirque, Sergey was an acrobatic-gymnastics National Team member and Captain for over 10 years. Sergey competed and became the winner of many international tournaments, world and continental championships.
Following the completion of his BA in Physical Education and Sports Coaching, Sergey stayed on the faculty of Physical Education and Sports as a professor of Theory and Methods of Gymnastics. Sergey also enjoyed playing several different sports in school and university such as soccer, basketball, volleyball and others.
In his early years as an athlete and later as professor and performer at Cirque du Soleil Sergey learned that discipline, dedication and passion, will bring you to the desirable high results.
Sergey moved to Vancouver with his wife Corine in 2012, where they started Fitnastika Fitness with the goal to help others through health and exercise. Sergey lives each day with the desire to encourage others to be better than the day before.

Andrew’s love for helping others and his interest in human movement inspired him to complete his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at UBC. As a certified personal trainer under the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), Andrew aims to provide the skills and knowledge for individuals to improve themselves and to adopt healthier lifestyles. He strives to improve himself every single day as he encourages others to improve themselves.
With his interest in human movement, Andrew helps others master the basics – to build a strong foundation, in order to improve their current abilities and to facilitate learning new movements. Having a solid foundation will keep you strong, so that you can return to experiencing life with minimal issues.
Andrew enjoys working with athletes as every little detail of training in the gym can affect strength and sport performance. It is these little details of improvement that can make a difference for high-level athletes. Andrew plans to earn his certification as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and to pursue a Master’s in Physiotherapy in the future to ensure that his clients receive the best help they can get from him.
Outside of the gym, Andrew is an avid dodgeball player in the Vancouver Dodgeball League, and a recreational athlete in volleyball, badminton, ultimate Frisbee, and dragon boat paddling. He also appreciates all kinds of music, as in the past, he sang in various choirs and acapella groups. His favourite way of relaxing is sipping a large cup of hot chocolate with jazz music playing in the background.
